Moving Day!!!

So today was the day...moving day that is!!! First off a helpful tip for anyone who is about to move all of their possessions when they have 20 years worth of crap...don't only get five hours of sleep..going to bed as the sun was coming up wasn't the brightest idea but in the end everything is kosher. I was just slightly cranky during the moving process. I've also decided that moving is really the best way to clean a room. It's amazing how much shit one person can accumulate over the years. While I was cleaning out under my bed I was fascinated by some of the crap that I held on to. I guess at the time I thought saving ticket stubs or pieces of paper was a good idea but when you have to haul everything to a new location (even if its just across the hall) it kind of sucks!!!
So I took this oppurtunity to get rid of the excess childhood junk. And of course as I went through everything I had to stop and laugh at some of the weird things I found. I even went through my old gradeschool yearbooks. Gosh...what was I thinking!?! My hair looked sooo bad in every single picture...thank god they seem to get progressively better as the years went on!!! Once I finsihed weeding out the junk it was just the matter of making it all look organized in my new room!!! The double bed and bigger closet made things pretty simple since I could hide a ton of crap under the bed and in the closet and make the room look so organized without actually being organized!!!! All in all the entire move including cleaning took about seven hours!!!!
Now I am in my new room and everything is fabulous!!! I love the wallcolor!!! The green came out fabulous..it is cool and kind of tropical feeling and goes awesome with my oak furniture and floor. And the best part of the room by far is the fabulous double bed!!!! Which is where I am lying typing this very blog hehe!!!! Mag and I went to Target yesterday and got a memory foam topper thingy and a delightful memory foam pillow...until now I had never had a memory foam pillow...boy they are fabulous!!!! Well worth the $30 that Mag shelled out for it hehe!!!
Oy well that is about it for now...I've been so good about updating this blog the past few days that not much else has happened to me in the past 48 hours!!!! I am still addicted to ebay and while I was in the middle of moving today I lost another auction in the final minutes=( The 2nd cool vintage purse I lost this week =( I gotta get better at this whole bidding war thing cause I keep losing really cool shit in the last five mintues and by like a dollar and it blows!!!! Okay time to curl up with my book and get to bed...I am only on book numero seis of the summer...and Steveo is killing me in the race!!!!
